Raw-edged Appliqué Chicken Panel

This design makes a panel using raw-edged appliqué techniques in a chicken design.  The finished panel is approximately 36 cm x 27½ cm (14 inches x 11 inches).

The panel was designed by Alison Bramley specifically for The Silk Route.

Alison Bramley achieved a distinction in City & Guilds Fashion and Design and subsequently a distinction in practioners for embroidery at Loughborough College of Art and Design.  She works in silk.  She draws her inspiration from many sources, including architecture, nature, stained glass windows, etc.  Alison gives talks and workshops throughout the country.
