BS 377 is a silk brocade woven in India. It has a small motif with a cream weft thread and a navy warp thread, and has a gold metallic thread as the additional weft thread. The pattern repeat is 14 mm (0.55 inches) across the weft and 23 mm (0.9 inches) along the warp.
It can be used to make stunning waistcoats for weddings or other special occasions. The small design makes it ideal for doll and dolls house use.
Please note that the appearance of brocades can differ considerably depending on the direction and intensity of the light. They are very difficult to photograph so any fabric supplied may not look exactly the same as these illustrations.
