We would always recommend dry cleaning and if your silk needs ironing protect your silk with a suitable cloth between the iron and the silk.

Ivory Silk Noil
Silk Noil is often referred to as raw silk. This is an ivory silk from China that is very popular for embroidery, furnishings and clothing as it is very easy to handle and does not crease easily. Silk Noil is made from the short fibres from the cocoon rather than a continuous length of silk so it has a rough texture. It is advisable to pre-wash if the silk is being used for garments as between 5% to 8% shrinkage can be expected.
