Can you help me choose the right silk?
Absolutely. Tell us about your project and we’ll happily recommend suitable fabrics and colours.
Can I order small pieces of silk?
Yes. Seeing and feeling silk before ordering can make choosing much easier.
Do you sell to beginners?
Of course. Many of our customers are using silk for the first time, and we’re always happy to offer guidance.
Do you supply professional designers?
Yes. We work with everyone from individual makers to fashion designers, theatres, interior designers, curtain makers and independent businesses.
How much silk do I need?
We can always help you with your calculations; you can email us here. As a general rule of thumb, 3m is usually enough to make a standard dress. You may want to add 10% or 15% to your order to cover any extra requirements.
Do you supply Wholesale?
Yes, we discounts silk orders over 20m, please get in touch with your requirements – we can always help.
Do you dye to match a bespoke shade?
For wholesale orders we can absolutely dye and match your silk requirements; in fact we have a growing number of Bridal Designers who buy their perfect shade of Ivory Silk Dupion purposely colour matched for their designs.
How quickly do you dispatch?
Orders are dispatched promptly from our Devon studio, carefully packaged and ready for your next project.

Are you in a quandary about the most appropriate silk to use? Let us help you match our silk to your requirements.
If you have an item or a colour scheme that you wish to match or complement, or a piece that requires backing or a border, and you are unsure of which colour or texture of silk would be the best, use our Colour Consultancy service. Just send us details of your requirements and a snippet of fabric, threads, magazine cuttings, painted paper, design, photograph, etc. that you wish to match, and we will suggest a colour scheme in our silk for you.
